On July 14, the University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-UL) solemnly held the Closing Ceremony and awarded Bachelor's degrees to 625 students of the QH-2019-L cohort. It is the first cohort graduated from the VNU University of Law since the establishment of the VNU-UL on the basis of the VNU School of Law.  Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh, Rector of

"Law training plays a vital role in ensuring sustainable growth of the country, especially in light of significant shifts in political, cultural, economic, and social relations today. Over the years, the VNU University of Law has continuously invested all resources in training and scientific research, quality assurance, staff development, and improving all aspects of activities to facilitate learning" the Rector said. In this graduation ceremony, the University of Law has 458 students who graduated, specifically as follows: Bachelor's degree in Law (Standard program): 250 graduates in total, of which 03 graduates with high distinction degrees (1.2%), 55 graduates with distinction degrees (22%), and 192 graduates with good degrees (76.8%); The graduation rate reached 70.82%. Bachelor's degree in Law (Honour program): 36 graduates in total, of which 09 graduates with high distinction degrees (25%), 27 graduates with distinction degrees (75%); The graduation rate reached 75%. Bachelor's degree in Business Law: 131 graduates in total, 51 students with high distinction degrees (38.93%), and 80 students with distinction degrees (61.07%). The graduation rate reached 75.72%. Bachelor's degree in International Trade and Business Law: 41 graduates in total, of which 28 graduates with high distinction degrees (68.29%) and 13 graduates with distinction degrees (31.71%). The graduation rate reached 80.39%.

At the ceremony, the law firm Nishimura &
Asahi awarded 03 scholarships of 500 USD to students with difficult
circumstances who made great efforts to achieve good results in their studies. 
Tong Thi Phuong, the student with the best
academic achievements in the cohort Tong Thi Phuong, on behalf of the new
graduates, expressed her pride in having had the opportunity to study in a
modern educational environment, in accordance with the University's philosophy:
Liberal - Excellent - Sustainable. Looking back on her educational experience
“The University of Law has significantly influenced me. Four years at the
University taught me that anyone can achieve their dreams if they put in the
necessary efforts and never give up. Let's be strong to overcome challenges in
life the way we did in college. If you fall, get up and keep moving forward
because failure only comes when you give up. I wish you strong and tough to
successfully reach your dreams" She proudly said.
